Hotel in Hakone Senkei | Hakone Hotel Seneki
Thank you for your interest in Hakone
Senkei
I would like to take this opportunity to show you around my hotel.
I’ll introduce you to some of our facilities and services, and explain
a few traditions of Japanese-style hotels.
So, shall we begin?
Our hotel is not very far from Hakone Yumoto station, but if you wish you can use Hakone Baggage Service that will take your bags to the hotel.
After checking
in at reception in at the hotel you will be shown to your room,
where we will serve some Japanese tea
and sweets. The nakai-san (hotel assistant) will also give you
some additional information, such as instructions on the traditional
way to wear a yukata (Japanese robe).
You will receive this services in Hotel Senkei
and Yamagaso
This looks very relaxing, doesn’t it? Our hot-spring baths are
one of the most popular features of our hotel. There are some specific
customs regarding the way to take a Japanese hot-spring bath, but don't worry
; complete English
instructions are available!
In addition, you can check the features
of our onsen here.
* Bath time schedule rotates for men and women. Please ask upon check-in.
With the exception of Senkei Plaza, dinner will be served in your room (Hotel Senkei, Yamagaso). This style is starting to disappear nowadays, but we are very fond of this tradition and like to preserve it.
We will bring you a selection of delicious dishes that focus on freshness, taste and meticulous presentation. You are sure to get a true "flavour" of Japan with these meals!
Breakfast will also be served in your room(Hotel Senkei, Yamagaso), providing the perfect start for your day of sightseeing in Hakone.
One note about breakfast: you can choose the time that you would like breakfast to be served, but please keep in mind that the nakai-san will arrive 30 minutes earlier in order to prepare the room for your meal.
After checking out, you can then embark on a day of sightseeing and discovery around Hakone! I have a few suggestions for places that you might like...
The first place that I recommend is called Owakudani. It is actually an active volcanic area, and the landscapes here look like the surface of another planet! The second place that I recommend is Hakone Jinja, a beautiful shrine located next to Lake Ashi. Wherever you decide to go during your stay in Hakone, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!!
Well, it's been a pleasure to introduce you to my hotel, and I hope that we at Hotel Senkei will have a chance to greet you in person some day soon!
